Display of Amorphous Material for Efficient Transformer Technology & Locally made Components at Elecrama 2018 – India’s largest & World’s leading Electrical Technology Congregation

Elecrama 2018, held every alternate year in India, 13th edition was organized on 10-14 March 2018 at Greater Noida (near New Delhi). More than 1,200 Global Exhibitors, including >200 Transformers, >300 Cables & Conductors, >200 Control & Switchgear manufacturers participated. ELECRAMA 2018 recorded >200,000 visitors. Elecrama organizer IEEMA (Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Association) has a membership of more than 800 companies with a combined turnover of over 42 billion US dollars value.

HMI (Proterial (India) Private Limited) organized 75 square meter stall displaying all Proterial Electricity related products with special focus on Amorphous Metal for Transformers.

Star attraction was a display of Amorphous Material and 2.5MVA locally made Amorphous Transformer (largest size in its class made in India). Live Core Loss Measurement of the Transformer was demonstrated showing Amorphous Metal advantages.

Under “Make in India” theme HMI showcased locally manufactured Amorphous & Nano-Crystalline Components, mainly cut cores of different shapes and sizes including Large Multi-cuts, Block, and Toroids. Magnets & Cable Products were also displayed.

HMI stall was inaugurated by Mr. Bharat Kaushal, Managing Director of Proterial (India) Private Limited and Dr. Kazuhiro Imaie, Managing Director of ‎Proterial Hi-Rel Power Electronics Private Limited, India.

 

Post Exhibition, exclusive conclave with Amorphous Metal Customers who are Transformer Manufacturers and End Utilities using Amorphous Metal Distribution Transformers.  Opening Keynote address given by Mr. Koji Sato, Executive Officer, President, Specialty Steel Co.
